The pleasure of staying in Florence at the "Plaza Lucchesi", on the banks of the Arno, a short way from Santa Croce, facing Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato al Monte. For a glimpse of the old Florence, that has succeeded in adapting to modern times intelligently and sensibly, without losing a bit of its charm and love for beautiful things, for the quality of life - this art in which Tuscans excel - and good taste.
Florence, as many people know, is not just art and culture, but also fine cuisine, entertainment, new ideas and countless shopping opportunities. The top Italian and international designers have their boutiques in our lovely city, but don't forget to visit the antique shops and craftsmen's shops that, unlike most other cities, have succeeded in keeping a foothold in the city's center.

It will also be a real pleasure for us to help you select among the wide range of restaurants that the city offers: fine cuisine and excellent wines, even internationally famous ones, mix perfectly with different contexts ranging from the small tavern to the most luxurious restaurant, without overlooking our own restaurant, of course, "La Serra".
Keeping in mind that Florence is in Tuscany and Tuscany is rich in cities and towns of enormous historical and artistic interest, we can arrange organized tours for you to Siena, San Gimignano, the Chianti region, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra and many other places. We can also help you plan your own itinerary by car and provide you with your own car and driver as well as authorized guides.
When it comes to shopping, there are also a number of famous outlets near Florence for luxury purchases at reduced prices: The Mall features sales outlets for Agnona, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Ungaro, Emilio Pucci, Zegna, Fendi, Armani, Gucci, Hogan, Pinco Pallino, La Perla, Loro Piana, Marni, Ferragamo, Sergio Rossi, Stella McCartney, Tod's, Valentino, Yamamoto, YSLaurent; Prada, has an outlet, as do Dolce e Gabbana. The brand new Barberino Designer Outlet, with many shops not only for apparel but also for home furnishings, and others too numerous to mention, is another option about which we will be glad to provide full information.
Without taking up more of your precious time, we would just like to remind you that for any information, reservations or requests, we will always be at your disposal … sorry, just two more things: don't forget about the Fiorentina (steak) and the Fiorentina (football team):
- The "Bistecca alla Fiorentina" is a T-bone steak cut thick from baby beeves of the Chianina breed, preferably. It has to be broiled and is best served with hot Tuscan beans dressed with lots of good olive oil, salt and pepper. Try it!!
- "ACF Fiorentina": see the home team play a game at the Artemio Franchi city stadium (designed
by Pier Luigi Nervi in 1931) comfortably seated, maybe near the team's owner, Diego Della Valle (creator and
owner of such brands as Tod's, Hogan and Fay), is certainly an event you will not want to miss.
